Media parties rarely make appearance here on this blog anymore but when they do, they come in pairs.
Today, I am sharing some photos from two recent parties that I attended. One organised by Furla to celebrate the grand opening of its flagship store at Marina Bay Sands, and the other to announce the launch of Nespresso Pixie Clips.

Over the weekend, Mr Christian Louboutin was in town and had a cocktail party at the boutique in Ngee Ann City, as well as at Potato Head Folk along Keong Saik Road.
It was a well-attended affair, with many guests in Louboutin’s designs, hoping to get his signature (which he politely declined).
First off, let’s admire some of the shoes in store.
Here we are, stuck in the eye of the festive season. With tonnes of occasions that warrant walking on heels and gyrating in short dresses, it’s time to get our killer legs party-ready! And therefore, I present a list of three solutions to brace your feet for the numerous shindigs.
My company had a dinner & dance recently and the theme was “Movie Characters”. Here’s my stab at playing Audrey Hepburn’s iconic role at “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” – Holly Golightly.

The end of the year is looming. It’s Christmas soon. It’s time to plan party outfits.
I bought a sequined dress recently and felt that it was the easiest, foolproof way to look every inch festive. Of course, if you are not a “dressy” person, there are other ways to incorporate sequins into your party ensemble.

I am sure eyes were rolling when I mentioned that I would be attending the launch party of Kardashian Kollection x Dorothy Perkins collection.
“Kardashian? You mean THAT Kardashian?”
Nonetheless, I knew what I was doing. Having previewed some photos prior to the launch, I spotted decent bodycon dresses and outer wear from the range.
Such as this upper lace dress (S$116) which I eventually chose for the event. It has a really flattering cut that showcases secretary chic in front and intricate lace details at the back.

You must have seen or heard so much about this glistening gold collection, which will be available on sale come Thursday.
I have posted photos of the entire collection, together with the prices on Facebook. While I appreciate its distinctive over-the-top style, I don’t see myself procuring any item as they are quite different my usual style. What do you think though?
Meanwhile, here are some pictures of the launch party in Paris last week. Let’s see how the party guests adorned the collection.
