With Kate Middleton seen wearing an outfit by Raoul during her recent trip to Singapore, the homegrown label has catapulted to greater international fame overnight. Riding on this hype and recognition, all eyes are on their upcoming Cruise collection, which extends Raoul’s preppy style, with an injection of breeziness and fun.

Coordinated print-on-print ensemble.

There is no denying that I am a big fan of printed clothes and therefore when faced with the avalanche of Spring Summer 2013 Fashion Week information, one question I had in mind was,”What are the printed offerings for the next season?”

Floral, mosaic, digital, silk screen. So many designers, so many inspirations.

I have shortlisted some of my favourite runway prints and do tell me which is your favourite!

I decided to do a clash on prints over the weekend. After all,  with my very serious day job, I can only go crazy on my sartorial sense during the weekend.

Previously, Miss Glitzy mentioned that she’s a fan of prints. However, Miss Glitzy forgot to mention that she also has this golden rule of not mixing different prints together. So, no nautical stripe tee with floral bottom. Or no printed dress with printed bag. No checked jacket with polka dotty shoes. Somehow, she is under the impression that different prints and patterns do not have positive reaction towards each other.

Until she saw this fashion spread on TeenVogue.com

Miss Glitzy believes that the stylist of this spread has the magic touch. Somehow every piece looks happily in sync with each other.

Miss Glitzy has been a fan of DVF for quite a while now. The obsession has never really stopped and she was on her way to accumulate more and more printed something from that designer. It’s not just about the prints actually – the dresses are so wearable as they compliment womanly curves and you don’t have to be reed thin to look fabulous. The prints just make the dresses special, i.e. it’s not just your regular little ____ (fill in the name of your favourite colour) dress. And in case it is not too evident from the outfit posts so far, Miss Glitzy is quite a printy person.

She happened to see this photo on DVF Facebook page:

A congregation of DVF dresses! What do you think?
