Rose - I’m not referring to the lady in the famous movie “Titanic” – but the commonly found element in many well-loved skincare products.
After all, rose is known to have anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, and contains high amount of Vitamin C. The aroma from rose also has calming and relaxing effect. Which is why you may wish to find out more about the 2 masks that I am introducing in this post – both of them uses the rose as main ingredient.
Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Bio-repair Gel Mask (S$83 for 150 ml) and Fresh Rose Face Mask (S$85 for 100ml).
I believe the rose is probably one of the most well-loved floral amongst womankind. The rose scent is used often in beauty products, the colour is associated to different shades of pink, rose oil helps to refine skin texture and possesses aromatherapy properties that calm and soothe.
What not to love about them?

Just how many different fragrances does a girl need?
Just like the numerous dresses, accessories, shoes and bags that a girl can never own enough of.
If Penhaligon’s Peoneve were a dress, I think it would be a breezy turquoise skater dress with water colour brush prints and a v-cut back. To summarise, this scent is akin to a feminine dress with some flirty appeal suitable for the warm and fuzzy summer season.
I have been curious about Jurlique for a while, having heard that they are a natural skincare brand, i.e. probably pretty effective for sensitive skin types. I had the opportunity to experience the new Rose Moisture Plus With Antioxidant Complex Skincare range and I think this range helped cement my good impression of the brand.
